Duerden Brothers

Duerden Brothers are growers and suppliers of cress, watercress and beansprouts. We are a fourth generation, family business with over one hundred years’ experience. We are now based in South West Lancashire in an area renowned for growing high quality fresh produce. 

Growing and packing our produce on one purpose-built site means that on the day your order is placed, your produce can be harvested, packaged and ready for delivery within four hours. We are able to supply our customers fifty-two weeks of the year and we now distribute to customers throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland.  

Duerden Brothers now supply many of the leading names in The Food Service Industry. As part of the family business, the team at Duerden Brothers work determinedly to respond to customer’s requests as quickly and efficiently as possible, ensuring the good name of the business is always maintained. We always strive to uphold our reputation as trustworthy and reliable suppliers and we aim to be the ‘go to’ company for all your cress, watercress, bean sprouts, frizzy peas, little gem, pea shoot and beetroot requirements. 

A third-generation family run business located in the North-West of England in Great Eccleston, Lancashire. Duerden grows and supply watercress, bean sprouts and mustard cress. 

They have the capacity to grow across three acres of purpose-built site, producing eighty tons of bean sprouts per week, fifty-two weeks of the year.
