Set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, PDM’s 3,800-acres of fields are home to a variety of salad crops including whole head iceberg, romaine, gems, speciality lettuce and celery. As one of the UK’s leading salad growers, they can grow over 8,800 tonnes of baby leaf, over 14,500 tonnes of prepared salad and over 70 million heads of lettuce and celery annually. 

Grown, picked and packed with care, the PDM family business has spanned more than two decades, and with the right conditions, PDM can plant an incredible 1.3 MILLION seedlings a day on their farm in Newport!

Tree Planting

Maintaining mature habitats and creating new woodlands with 30,000 trees planted over the past 2 years

Solar Energy

Up to 35% of electricity is generated by the solar panels on the farm, with plans to grow this to up to 60%

Waste Separation & Recycling

Proud to be zero to landfill with a strong recycling ethos and actively working towards all products produced being fully recyclable
