Method
Place all the ingredients into a pan and bring to the boil, allow to cool.
The brine works well with pork. Brine a shoulder of pork for around 12 hours, rinse well then slow cook until tender. Also try brining a pork chop for 2-3 hours, rinse well before cooking.
