As we witness the impact of recent weather conditions across Spain, our thoughts are with all those affected, including our dedicated suppliers. We recognise the challenges they face as they work tirelessly to restore operations and repair the damage caused by DANAs extensive flooding.
Severe weather continues to significantly disrupt the fresh food supply chains around the world. Although the El Niño phenomenon has begun to wane since February of this year, the relief we had hoped for remains elusive this year, as extreme weather conditions worldwide continue to pose ongoing challenges.
Thanks to our long term relationships with our growers, we are able to maintain a secure supply of fruit and vegetables for our valued customers, even in the face of adversity.
As ever, we are committed to transparent communication with our customers and if any potential shortages arise in the future, we will provide recommendations for alternative fresh produce options, as and when required. Please speak to your Account Manager in the first instance for further information and support.
We appreciate the resilience of all our suppliers during such difficult times, and we thank you for your continued commitment and support.
